You may have installed X11 on your Mac to get some obscure application working (I had done it while looking for a MUD Client) and may be looking for a way to uninstall it. Follow the instructions in the 10.8 section above regarding how to check your version and uninstall an outdated one, if needed. However, I have followed all the instructions given in the course, read all the FAQs/tutorials online, and cant seem to figure out what is going on, and neither can the TA or instructor in my class.
